I don't have many pictures from the "Early Days" of my collecting (which can either be a good thing or a bad thing depending on how you look at it!) In any case, here's what I have:

Shown above is my collection, shortly before Christmas 1992. At that point I had started collecting Hemingrays mainly, but I was still collecting colorful insulators from other companies as well. My Hemingray fixation wouldn't completely develop until the Denver National in 1993.

In the picture on the left you'll notice me holding a Victor multipart. I saw it at the 1992 Bakersfield show under Walter's table (God bless him). The entire bottom skirt had been shattered. Walter gave it to on the condition that I repair it, which I did. Even though I don't collect "mud", I still have that piece to this day. Not all value consists of money, after all.

Library Display, 1993

This was my second display at the Laguna Niguel Library. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures from my first display, but my dad remembers it only took up two shelves... widely spaced!

My third library display in 1995 made the front page of the Laguna Niguel News. The article can be seen in the Articles section.
