In addition to drawing the monthly Laugh Lines comics for Crown Jewels of the Wire Magazine, I have also drawn a few awards for Best Use of Power Insulators, given out by the Greater Chicago Insulator Club at past National shows.

My first drawings definitely showed my Laugh Lines influence. Later on, though, I took the opportunity as a departure to try and draw insulators more realistically.

This charicature was given as a surprise to Bob Stahr and Rick Soller, show hosts of the Chicago National. This picture was also the cover of the September 1997 issue of Crown Jewels of the Wire Magazine.
