This style is one of the earlier triple petticoat high voltage pieces, which appears to have been eventually replaced by the slightly larger CD 281

Wide Dome Variant

This variant features a wider "mushroom" dome, slightly higher shoulder and smaller wire groove than the standard CD 280. This particular mold was also embossed with a smaller embossing and tiny, sharp drip points.
