Hemingray Insulator Profile: CD 1140
Home > Hemingray Database
Hemingray produced two different sizes of span wire insulators (nicknamed "Johnny Balls"). This is the larger of the two styles. It was originally the No.15, and later renumbered to No.91. Despite catalog drawings, no specimens have ever been found embossed with "Hemingray". As these were also produced by Brookfield, it is difficult to distinguish the manufacturer of these.
